Who are you and what is it that you do?

Hello and first, thank you for stopping by the website! My name is Kevin Cheek and I am the owner of Dawg-Town Entertainment and DJ located in Athens, GA. I am a Wedding Entertainment Specialist with over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry. At Dawg-Town we provide the best entertainment and organization around to more than 30 brides a year all over North Georgia and the southeast! When you book Dawg-Town you get the owner and best entertainment specialist every time!

Do you only do Weddings?

No, at Dawg-Town we do all types of events! We do birthday parties, school functions such as proms and homecoming dances, we do company events such as Christmas parties and outings/workshops. If you want music at an event... we do it!

What Makes Dawg-Town the best choice for me?

I am so glad you asked! Dawg-Town is locally owned and operated! We are not a multi-op DJ like some companies in our area. We are a grassroots, small business that started in a garage in Athens, GA.  We do not book more than ONE WEDDING/EVENT PER DAY and that helps us give you the undivided attention you deserve and need! Since we only book one wedding/event per day and give such undivided attention we book popular days quickly, so make sure to book as soon as possible to guarantee you get the best DJ in North Georgia! You will have me (Kevin Cheek) as your Wedding/Event Entertainment Specialist. That’s over 10 years and hundreds of events worth of experience! We are not just a DJ, we are so much more. We have back-up equipment on site and have a network of other entertainers on standby incase an act of God were to occur. We also include lighting in each of our shows! We provide truly professional lighting, not lights bought at a local retail store at the mall. Take a look at our “Event Photos” section to see examples of our lighting.

How do I book Dawg-Town for My Event?

It’s easy! Come meet us for a free consultation! We will go over details of your event with you and tailor our services to your needs. We can address any concerns or worries you may have in person. We then have you sign a simple to read and understand contract that protects both you and Dawg-Town. A deposit/retainer is also required to secure the date.

Kevin, How Can I Pay Dawg-Town?

We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards through our safe and secure online event planner system. We also accept cash or check. In most cases, we can work out payment arrangements for everyone!

Kevin, What if I Can’t Meet in Person?

That’s ok! While we always encourage meeting with us in person. We can work with you by phone and internet, including Skype.  Also, we have a great online planner that helps organize your event. Just click on our “Client Login” section and go to “Modify Your Event” you type in your password and event date and can work at your convenience! We will go over all the details of your event and make sure you are well taken care of.
